Happy Halloween

This is some of what I have been working on....

This is the other important sewing project that I have been working on in between... well, in between what I have been working on...

I really had nothing to do with Caitrin's ice skating costume becuase I am too much of a chicken to try to sew knits without a serger, but we did manage to make creative use of a Quilt Show Ribbon.

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween!

Love the costumes! (You really don't need a serger to tackle knits, just a stretch stitch on your machine or even a straight stitch with a zigzag adjoining, I made lots of teeshirts, slips and even a swim suit using a basic machine)

Can you come to my house and give me a tutorial? I have never sewn anything in knits to my satisfaction - but maybe I need a good teacher. (Then again, maybe I just like sewing quilts more and I'm trying to justify the time I spend doing so!)
