Blossoms... for Christmas!

Hi everyone!
When Blossoms debuted this past spring, I think I mentioned that I really wanted to try it in Christmas fabrics.  Well, a friend took me up on that and commissioned a Blossoms quilt in Kate Spain's Flurry fabric, with just a little bit of Doodlebug Design's Christmas Candy thrown in.  I changed the leaves to be a little pointed, so that the blossoms look like pointsettas.  I'm taking it to Deborah tomorrow and can't wait to see what magic her quilting adds, but in the meantime, here are some sneek peeks...

I love the how the vibrant colors frame the big white flowers!

On another front, my market-booth-neighbor, Brandy Masher, created a really neat wall hanging using a charm pack of Veranda.  You can see it on Ribbon Candy Quilt Company's blog.  Isn't it sweet?

Happy sewing!
Amanda

Just beautiful, Amanda! I've only recently discovered you, ;-) and I'm loving your new patterns; I already have some Veranda & Ambrosia to call my own!

that's gorgeous Amanda! I love the 'pointed' flower idea...they do look like poinsettias!

OH Amanda...I'm Loving it!!! Can't wait to see it all quilted. I got that pattern so I'll need to add it done in X-Mas fabrics to my list.

It's lovely - the flowers also make me think of snowflakes.

Love this - very fresh and not too Christmassy that you couldn't use it throughout the year. I live in Canada - specifically Cambridge, Ontario and I'm not sure where to purchase your designs as I would like to purchase this one! Could you supply some information for me? Thank you so much!

Thanks so much for the compliments, everyone! In answer to Wendi's question about where to order, there is a list of shops stocking my patterns on the sidebar of my blog, but these are only shops that have contacted me directly to be on my list. There may be Canadian stores that stock my patterns that I don’t know about. Many times customers go through distributors and so I have no way of knowing who orders what. If you have a local shop, they can order all of my patterns through E.E. Schenk and Checker. United Notions also stocks half the line. I hope that helps!

Wow! It's great! You did a fantastic job. I'm making my Christmas quilt with Flurry, too! But I would love to see your take on a Christmas line.
